Round Top/ Warrenton - 29 miles. 

A large antique show started in 1968 and held 2 weeks every January and 2 weeks every March draws people from the

U.S. and beyond.

EDWIN WOLTERS MUSEUM

Shiner - 33 miles. Displays include an antique gun collection, dinosaur bones, musical instruments, an implement shed, and a doll display. Free. Open Wednesday – Friday 8:00 a.m. - Noon/1:00 p.m. -5:00 p.m. and Saturday Noon-4:00 p.m.

FESTIVAL HILL

Round Top - 33 miles. One concert weekend scheduled every month from Aug. - April.   Classical music events offered each weekend June - Mid July, with one concert per month the rest of the year. The concert hall, beautiful grounds and herb garden. Have tours available  (979) 249-3129

TEXAS WENDISH HERITAGE MUSEUM

Giddings - 35 miles. Preserving and telling the story of a Slavic group of people, the Wends, arriving in Texas in 1854 to escape racial prejudice and cultural assimilation by the Prussian government.

WINEDALE HISTORICAL CENTER

Round Top - 36 miles. Building complex for the purpose of preserving Texas history and culture.  Donated to the University of Texas in 1967 by Ima Hogg. Many cultural activities.
